I’m pretty excited to be able to present my newest sock pattern today! The inspiration for this pattern is the dizzying array of decorative techniques employed in Victorian Era women’s attire.

This lovely lacy design reminds me of something that might have been worn with high buttoned shoes–something truly sumptuous, but mostly hidden. A little bit of secret luxury for the wearer’s personal enjoyment, with only the picot edged cuff left visible above the boot top to hint at the intricacies within.

I am making the pattern available for free to everyone for a limited time, and in October 2022, I’ll place it for purchase on my Etsy account–and perhaps on Ravelry as well.
